eADAP is the online version of ADAP, an acronym for Alcohol and Drug Awareness Program. In Georgia, teens under the age of 18 are required to show proof that they have completed ADAP in order to obtain their Class D driver’s license.

ADAP is NOT the same as driver’s education. Most teens take ADAP in health class. If your teen already took an ADAP class, you should contact the high school and request the necessary ADAP certificate.

If your teen’s high school does not offer the traditional classroom ADAP course, eADAP is available online. Teens that were absent from school when the ADAP course was offered, have recently moved to Georgia, or are home-schooled can take the eADAP course online.
