Yes! Due to a new Georgia Law, Drive Smart Georgia can now give anyone 18 years or older an on-site road test for your GA. driver’s license.

You must have a valid GEORGIA learner’s permit to take the road test.

You are not required to take any driving lessons.

You must call by Thursday the week before you want to take the test.

All 18 & over road tests must be booked over the phone.

The fee is $149.

Upon passing the road test, you will have to go to the Department of Driver Services to present a certificate verifying that you have been tested by a third-party examiner and passed the road test. They will review all necessary documents and issue the photo license.

There is an expedited line to do this at the DDS.
