If you’re in a time crunch situation, your teen can actually get a driver’s license without completing their driving lessons.
Governor Kemp’s recent order states that a teen can test for a driver’s license at the DDS if they completed the 30-hour program, have an affidavit signed by a parent that states the teen has completed 40 hours of supervised driving, and has had their learner’s permit for at least one year and one day.
